Joakim Åkesson Biträdande prefekt för sektionen för Sport Management På GIH bedrivs högskoleutbildning för lärare i idrott och hälsa, tränare, hälsopedagoger och studenter på det så kallade Sport Management-programmet. Utbildningen innehåller såväl teoretiska som praktiska kursmoment. Sedan 2011 har även GIH examensrätt på forskarutbildningsnivå.
